Feed the Fish

Looking around our site, you'll have discovered that trout need clean water, oxygen and food to keep them happy. Trout farmers need to make sure their fish get all of these things. Could you be a trout farmer?!

Try our pond ecosystem game and find out. Add some fish and water-plants and try to keep the the fish alive. Here's a clue: the water plants oxygenate the water; the fish produce waste that help enrich the water and feed the plants.

Not enough food or oxygen and the fish or plants will soon tell you! Ignore their requests at your peril - you loss fish! Fewer fish mean less food for the plants. Fewer plants mean less oxygen for the fish.

Trout Jigsaw

Try our great 49 piece jigsaw of a leaping trout in its natural surroundings.

When you click on the Play Game link you will see a jigsaw. Click the Ok button to scramble the jigsaw. Click and drag to move the jigsaw pieces. Notice that the pieces aren't necessarily the correct way up - it's not as easy as it looks!

Follow the simple onscreen instructions for rotating the pieces and viewing the jigsaw pattern.
